30 Days of Dipes Kick Off! – Fuzzibunz Elite Review
Welcome to day one of 30 Days of Dipes! Today is sponsored by Fuzzibunz. I will be reviewing and giving away a Fuzzibunz Elite diaper. Make sure you also check out Erin from The Slacker Mom‘s review of the Trickle Free Trainer and Jen from Life With Levi‘s review of the Fuzzibunz Diaper Talk diaper!
The Dirty Details:
Daytime Use: 5 Bums Up
Overnight Use: 2 Bums Up
Ease of Use: 2 Bums Up
Quality: 5 Bums Up
Overall: 3.5 Bums Up
Daytime Use: I gave the Fuzzibunz Elite 5 Bums Up for daytime use. I love the unique adjustable elastic on the one size version because it makes it really easy to get a fit that is customized to your baby. The button adjusted elastic also makes this diaper super trim for a one size diaper. It looks great under pants (if you can stand to cover up the cuteness)!
Overnight Use: The Elite only gets 2 Bums Up for us for overnight use. It just doesn’t offer enough absorbency and the pocket is much too small to add a third insert. This would probably be the last diaper that I would recommend for overnight use for a toddler. That said, it would probably work for a younger baby.
Ease of Use: The Elite gets 2 Bums Up for ease of use. I love the button adjusted elastic now, but in the beginning it was extremely intimidating. The Elite has new minky inserts that make it slightly easier to stuff than the previous version however, the pocket is still very narrow. My hands are not large at all and I still have a hard time stuffing the Elite.
Quality: The Elite definitely earns 5 Bums Up for quality. It is extremely well made and as long as you treat the PUL right, should last twice as long as most other diapers. The button adjusted elastic is easy to replace, you just pull it out and slide in new elastics. Plus, each diaper comes with an extra set of elastic.
Overall: This is a great diaper, especially for daytime use. It’s just as trim as a disposable on my toddler and is an excellent value considering how well made it is and how long it will last.
