30 Days of Dipes – Fuzzibunz Trickle Free Trainer
Welcome to day 12 of 30 Days of Dipes! Today is sponsored by Fluffy Rump. Fluffy Rump is owned by Stephanie, a cloth diapering mom to a little boy. Stephanie and her family are originally from the Northeast US but they’re currently living in Puerto Rico. Thanks to Fluffy Rump, I will be reviewing and giving away a Fuzzibunz Trickle Free Trainer. Make sure you also check out Erin from The Slacker Mom‘s Swaddlebees review today!
The Dirty Details:
Daytime Use: 4 Bums Up!
Overnight Use: N/A
Ease of Use: 5 Bums Up!
Quality: 3 Bums Up!
Overall: 4 Bums Up!
Daytime Use: The Trickle Free Trainer got 4 Bums Up for daytime use. It is a great trainer! It’s absorbent enough for a small pee, but they definitely can feel that they are wet (which you want in a trainer). We went with the “No Dumping” print and it is adorable! I love the “Super Kid” print that Erin from The Slacker Mom reviewed too! Their prints are digitally printed, not screen printed so they won’t crack or peel either.
Overnight Use: Since we aren’t to the point of using training pants overnight yet, I can’t rate these for overnight usage. The Gnome has only woken up dry one morning since we started potty learning and we bed-share so I didn’t want to risk wet sheets!
Ease of Use: The Trickle Free Trainer deserves 5 Bums Up for ease of use! It is super easy to pull up and down and I was insanely appreciative of the side snaps when The Gnome broke it in the first time he wore it. Apparently the “new diaper, must poop” rule also holds true for trainers. The side snaps made it so that I didn’t have to pull a dirty trainer down his legs to change it.
Quality: I gave the Trickle Free Trainer 3 Bums Up for quality. I didn’t like that the fold over elastic trim got pilly after only a handful of washes. Yes, it’s an aesthetic thing, but I found myself picking lint off of the thing every single time we used it.
Overall: The Fuzzibunz Trickle Free trainer gets 4 Bums Up overall. I really like this trainer and I adore the side snaps. When we do move into using trainers overnight there is room to lay in a doubler or two to add extra absorbency, just in case.
